Why this role is rare

Brands will spend over $100 billion on US social ads in 2026 and most of it is optimized using surprisingly shallow data. You’ll help change that.

You’ll be the person working hands-on with the most valuable dataset in creator advertising: scoping problems, building models and shipping insights that go straight into the product.

Here’s what makes the data special. Billo sits at the intersection of every signal that matters in ad performance:

  • Ad account data at scale – thousands of connected Meta ad accounts generating real performance metrics across millions of impressions
  • Creator intelligence – thousands of creator profiles with content history, engagement metrics and organic performance data
  • Creative-to-outcome mapping – hundreds of thousands of delivered videos with metadata linking creators, brands, briefs, scripts and actual ROAS outcomes

Very few companies on the planet have all three.

What you’ll do

You’ll turn Billo’s cross-platform data into a compounding moat:

  • Build creator–performance matching models that connect Billo-created content to real ad results across connected ad accounts
  • Decode winning creative patterns at scale – which hooks convert, which creator styles drive ROAS, which content structures outperform across platforms
  • Feed our AI product suite. We already ship AI-powered script generation, creator matchmaking and ad variation tools. Your job is to bring better data, sharper logic and new features into what’s already live
  • Expand the data footprint by integrating new platform APIs and evaluating third-party data sources
  • Mine organic creator signals to predict paid ad performance before a dollar is spent
  • Translate findings into product decisions – you’ll present to founders, product leads and engineers.

What we’re looking for

Must have

  • Statistics or econometrics foundation. Degree in statistics, econometrics, mathematics or physics with real applied work
  • 2+ years in an analytical role. Career changers welcome, especially if you bring energy and a habit of using AI tools to move fast
  • SQL – daily
  • Curiosity about how advertising actually works

Nice to have

  • PhD (candidate or completed)
  • Hands-on experience with ad performance data
  • Experience using AI/LLM tools to accelerate analysis and prototyping

Compensation: €4,500 – €6,500 gross/month + stock options

Who this role isn’t for

If you want a well-defined backlog of tickets and a team of 20 data colleagues to lean on, this isn’t the role. You will be working within the Data team in our R&D department, with support from data engineers, data analysts and other tech colleagues but you’ll own the data science problems end to end.
