Social Media and Community Manager

Now we’re hiring a Social Media & Community Manager to own Billo’s own voice online. If you want to grow a brand that’s already winning – this is the seat.
As a Social Media and Community Manager at Billo, you will:
- Define and lead the organic social media content strategy, ensuring alignment with overall marketing, brand, and content objectives.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Reddit, YouTube, etc.). Tailor platform strategies by audience and channel, creating content that resonates with each unique community.
- Identify and test growth opportunities on emerging platforms, using data-driven insights to guide experiments.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content to maximize reach, engagement, and brand impact.
- Stay ahead of cultural, industry, and social trends to drive relevance and strengthen brand storytelling.
- Provide strategic input on how social media can support broader company initiatives, including employer branding and PR campaigns.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media initiatives, optimizing strategies based on key KPIs.
What we expect:
- 2+ years of proven experience managing social media across multiple platforms.
- Experience leading organic social media strategies for a global brand (specifically for fast-scaling US businesses).
- Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, trends, and audience behaviors across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Copywriting skills (or utilizing AI agents and toolsets to engineer results) with the ability to create engaging, brand-consistent content.
- Analytical skills with experience using social and marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and adapt to new trends quickly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to build communities, spot trends, and create viral content.
