We’re looking for a Financial Operations Specialist to join our team.
About the role:
As a key member of Billo’s finance operations, you’ll ensure our day-to-day financial processes run smoothly and accurately. You’ll manage invoices, track and process incoming payments, handle client funds, support payouts, and take ownership of refunds and disputes. You’ll work closely with the CFO and accountant, keeping everything clean, organized, and on time.
This role is perfect for someone who loves structure, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working with different teams to solve issues quickly and responsibly.
As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Invoice Management: create, issue, track, and organize invoices; ensure billing accuracy and proper documentation.
- Payments & Client Funds Management: monitor incoming payments, match payments to invoices, follow up on overdue items, and ensure correct client fund handling.
- Refunds and Disputes Management: manage refunds, chargebacks/disputes, investigate cases, and coordinate with internal teams and payment providers when needed.
- Payouts: support creator/vendor payouts, ensure payout accuracy, resolve payout-related issues, and keep records up to date.
- Other (CFO and accountant assistance): support month-end routines, provide data and documentation, and help improve finance processes and reporting.
What we’re looking for:
- University or college degree (finance, accounting, economics, business, or similar).
- Good understanding of accounting basics and financial documents.
- Good skills in Excel or Google Spreadsheets
- English and Lithuanian language proficiency (written and spoken)
- High attention to detail and strong accuracy mindset.
- Responsible and accountable: you follow through and close the loop.
- Willing to collaborate, learn, and grow in a fast-moving environment.
- Team person with clear, friendly communication.
